The Surrey Teaching Schools Network (STSN) is an accredited provider for the new suite of National Professional Qualifications. The network comprises 20 Surrey Teaching Schools and has delivered National Professional Leadership Programmes for over 930 school leaders. It also runs a range of courses for executive leaders, heads of school as well as headteachers’ network events and leading change programmes for individual schools.
The Reformed National Professional Qualifications are designed to support four levels of professional development for current and aspiring school leaders. They include:
The National Professional Qualification for Middle Leadership (NPQML)
The National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL)
The National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH)
National Professional Qualification for Executive Leadership (NPQEL)
Each programme covers the six core areas of learning:
Strategy and Improvement 
Teaching and Curriculum Excellence
Working in Partnership 
Leading with Impact
Managing Resources and Risks
Increasing Capability
All four programmes are delivered through a combination of face-to-face days and facilitated online learning courses and are run by accredited facilitators and experienced senior leaders / headteachers from primary, secondary and special schools.
